Patience

It’s the moment when the eyelid waits eagerly for many minuites to meet its other half in a magical blink!
It’s the patience of the heart that waits to rest in a second of silence between two beats!

It’s when the trees sway crazily with the strong wind’s blow while keeping its root firm to the ground; ready to stand still when the wind is gone!

So don’t stay awake all night to see the sunrise. But sleep deeply till you welcome the morning arrival as the darkness vanishes away!

Remember that the sun waited all night and the moon waited all morning for that remarkable meeting!

Patience is when you travel within time; and with time prepare yourself…for the right time!

The Mirror

My heart sinks whenever your eyes meet mine and a thousand ideas flow in my mind. However unable to make itself out as words, it pounds my heart against my chest so hard that blood glows up my cheeks, forcing my eyes to lower obediently. But yours still stare for another comeback.

Looking up at you again hesitantly, your eyes cheer up for my return and with a welcoming wink you take my breath away. And you tell my heart to keep calm? It can’t! Increasing rythmically, I can see your eyes dancing to my heartbeat!

A wandering boat is my heart and a sea of secrets is your eyes..I can’t know where will you take me so I’d rather stay at my shore..

I can’t swim if I feel like I’m drowning and If I’m lost, I’m afraid I’ll lose my way back to myself..

But I do confess that your eyes are so beautiful that my fish-eyes will definetely fall for the bait you set!

Silently observing the confusion battle in my eyes, with a calm nod of your eyelids, you comforted me!

Excited, my eyes search yours carefully to catch a hint for a confirmation and I catch myself see…myself in your eyes!

The Fear

Looking up to the star-lit sky, she recalls that unforgettable night. The night when she longed to hear the three words..”I am here”. Though he said those words with hesitance; her innocent heart accepted that little lie.

He wanted to show her how manly he was. So he listed promises as much as he could say, lifting that poor foolish girl’s hopes to more than they could stand.

She was full of life and she deserved to be loved and to love. But the only fault she was accused of was that she wanted to share the happiness of life with the one she thought will love her to the end.

The “I am here” were just words to shut her emotions. The rest of her days were empty having him beside her.

He left her weeping till her love tried to escape her throat. Her soul was trapped between the cages of her heart and her memories lost to fade away.

As a star falls in the sky, she lets out a teardrop from her eye; It may be a glimpse of that bitter memory, a rage towards her blind belief or the fear of promises..

But still..

She lights up the candles with hope; wishing for another blessed year celebrating her 9th anniversary.

She smiles at her past. How she was; what she’s gone through and how all of a sudden she met him. The one she never dreamt of meeting.

He simply lend her his hand for her to hold forever. But she was reluctant.

She was not sure of herself because she didn’t trust her own being until he showed her to…herself!

He taught her how to become the best she can be. He enjoyed her company whenever she tries to spare time with him.

He enlightened her with his presence. And whenever it’s time to leave, he fills her with hope, joy and promise of staying with her…for eternity.

Through all these years, she may have exchanged and shared her deep feelings but still she looks up with doubt.

The doubt in herself if she can really keep that bond; if she is worthy of him since he, himself is perfect. The doubt that she may betray him like his close friend did.
When she feels that she’s going to give up, she finds that there’s nowhere to go. Everything seems blank without him, everything seems meaningless.

“Trust me”; he said.
She’s been 9 years with him. Still she doesn’t know how to love him.

But still what’s keeping her hopes high is him; his promise, his words, his love.
